How to Prepare a Suitcase for Beach Vacation ?

Going for a beach vacation? Thinking what to pack what not to pack? Beach vacay’s are usually short trips for 10 to 15 days at max. So, it’s kind of difficult to figure out how to pack a travel bag with all necessary belongings. Well let’s help you out following are the most important things that you should keep in mind while packing up a beach vacation suitcase.

Clothing’s
Clothes are the most important part of any holiday trip. And even if you travel light for a beach vacay you have to keep some appropriate clothes. For a beach vacay, you can keep 2 -3 bathing suits,2-3 cover ups,  2-3 evening dresses and 1-2 PJ’s suits for sleeping. That will do for your short trip.
  
Travel Size Toiletries
Toiletries are the basics that you need for any trip. Following are the lists of things that you will need on your trip but make sure these are travel size toiletries because you don’t want to overload your travel bag with these things;
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Soap/ hand sanitizers
  • Shampoo & conditioners
  • Deodorants
  • Moisturizers
  • Hairbrush/comb
Bag pack or tote bag
You can’t roam around with a travel bag on the beach for obvious reasons. So you need to keep a bag pack or tote bag waterproof preferable with pockets to carry your mobiles, iPod, sunscreen lotions, towel, sunglasses, etc. to the beach with you.
  
Flip-Flops
Flip flops are kind of essential when you’re going to a beach vacay. Its light to carry, easy to wear, comfortable and more importantly you can wear it in water without worrying about it getting damaged.
  
Sunblock 
Sunblock is another essential you need to pack when going on a beach vacation. You love to soak the sun but you won’t love to get burn and for that, you need to pack sunblock or sunscreen with SPF 15 (average) or the one that suits you.

Beach Towel
Don’t forget to pack a nice big beach towel in your luggage; you will be needing it mostly to dry up. 

Beach Accessories 
Well, you can pack some things to accessorize yourself for the beach look. Followings could be more than enough
  • Sunglasses ( must)
  • Floppy Sun Hat
  • Jewelry ( very light & chic )
  • Scarves  (if you want to )


Wipes
Anti-bacterial wet wipes are great for traveling it is very convenient to use for a quick clean-up anywhere, anytime. So make sure you pack them as well while packing your suitcase.
 
Extra pair of shoes/ sandals
Always pack an extra pair of shoes or sandal beside the flip-flops. You can wear them anywhere apart from the beach for sightseeing or airport.

Medicines
Last but not the least don’t forget to pack some medicines painkillers, anti-allergic, sandblasts, etc. You may not be needing it but always keep in case of emergency.

A Final word
Make sure everything you keep is according to the duration of your trip and size of your suitcase. Its always good to travel light when you are on a holiday trip. You can always use travel organizers while packing your luggage this will help you keep your belongings well protected and use suitcase space efficiently.
